BUILDING PERMITS

When any new construction, structural change or major alteration is made to a building, a building permit will be required. In most cases, normal maintenance of buildings may not be required. Contact the Building Department for any questions or concerns.

To speed up the process, you can download the Building Permit Application. Completely fill out the application. The following is required along with your building permit application when submitting for approval:

1. $10,000 Surety Bond
2. Copy of the contractor’s Certificate of Insurance
3. Copy of the contractor’s Business License

******The Building Department also requires 3 copies of plans for review.
