Senior Services

The Village of Bedford Park offers many services to senior residents ages 65 and over. By offering these services, the village is striving to encourage independence for senior adults through advocacy and assistance. The following are offered free of charge:

  • Lawn Service
  • Snow Shoveling
  • Transportation services (wheelchair accessible van as well)
  • Knoxbox program
  • LifeAlert services
  • Technology training
  • Wellness checks
  • Field trips and senior events

Public Notice on COVID-19

  • Any senior resident (over 65) who needs assistance in ordering groceries online, please contact the Village Hall. However, the senior resident will be responsible for payment. One of the online companies we are using is Instacart: https://www.instacart.com/.
  • Please note that CVS and Walgreen’s provide prescription delivery service. Please contact them directly for details: https://www.cvs.com/content/delivery

  • The village program for senior rides will remain in effect. Please contact the Village Hall for scheduling.
  • Reminder: the Police and Fire Department are always available for emergency situations by calling 911 and for non-emergency situations call (708) 458-3388.
